Dick Wolf was born in Buffalo, NY in
1930. He studied two years at The Art Institute in Buffalo. He then joined the
Army in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1953. After spending 4 years at
SUNY, Buffalo he taught art for 4 years in New York State. Mr. Wolf obtained a
Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy, and went on to teach as a
Professor at Eastern Connecticut State University for another 23
years.
Mr. Wolf has exhibited locally regionally, and nationally for over
40 years. He has just completed a second book. This new book is an illustrated
biography of Dmitri Shostakovich. It is available from Trafford Publishing
Service and has been placed in the Shostakovich archives in Paris and
Moscow.
